As a Manager of Data & AI Design, you will lead the creation of granular, implementation-ready specifications that power our delivery. Your focus is the physical definition of the data+ai design patterns. You will be responsible for producing Level 5 design artifacts in collaboration with the different leads in engineering, modelling, data science and our Data+AI platform. You will define the exact data types, latency constraints, and integration patterns required for deployment. You will turn ambiguity into rigorous technical blueprints that team can execute without guesswork.

In parallel, you will standardize the "last mile" of design, in partnership with other team leads.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the detailed technical design of AI/ML solutions, creating executable blueprints for high-value applications like production scheduling and predictive maintenance.

Define precise specifications for data preprocessing and feature engineering, ensuring data quality rules and transformation logic are strictly documented for engineering teams.

Design orchestration workflows and dependency logic (e.g., for Kedro/Airflow) to automate pipelines.

Collaborate with the data+ai platform to define strict API contracts and microservice architectures, ensuring seamless model deployment and integration with platform systems.

You bring:

Relevant Experience: 7+ years in Data Science with a proven track record of designing and delivering executable AI/ML solutions.

Technical Stack: Strong expertise in designing microservice-based AI deployments.

Agentic AI Design: Proficiency in agentic design patterns (e.g., multi-agent systems, ReAct loops) to build autonomous, decision-making applications.

Orchestration: Hands-on experience with frameworks.

Modeling Depth: Background in creating complex end to end data+ai solutions.

Leadership: Strong ability to lead technical a design discussion end to end.
