Danish Copywriter

The Role

HelloFresh is looking for a talented Danish Copywriter (tekstforfatter) to join our Nordic Brand team and craft compelling copy for Denmark’s leading meal kit brand.

As our Danish Copywriter, you will play a key role in bringing the HelloFresh brand to life by delivering high-quality, engaging copy across all consumer touchpoints. You will work across a wide range of tasks: from punchy OOH headlines to tactical lower-funnel messages, from simpler CTAs to longer-form copy, and from localizing global content to creating original work. Your cultural and linguistic expertise will help shape messages that truly resonate with Danish consumers.

You will be part of our Marketing Communications Team, reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager and collaborating closely with your Swedish and Norwegian counterparts. The role is based in Copenhagen.

We will start the interview process January 5th 2025.

What you’ll do

• Create all consumer- and customer-facing copy for HelloFresh, adapting international brand guidelines and developing a strong Danish tone of voice

• Collaborate with the International Brand Team on marketing initiatives and copy standards

• Develop creative concepts and ideas for product launches, 360 brand campaigns, social content and other marketing projects

• Adapt and localize a wide range of content from English to Danish across channels including CRM, paid social, YouTube, TV, OOH, radio, display, UX/UI, and other materials

• Organize and prioritize multiple copy briefs and deadlines

• Proofread Danish content to ensure quality, accuracy and consistency

• Support both local and global teams in campaign rollouts

• Support development of content strategies and social media content

What you’ll bring

• Excellent Danish writing skills with proven experience in copywriting

• Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken

• High attention to detail and structure, delivering consistently high-quality output

• Understanding of the marketing mix both online and offline and ability to write copy depending on channel objectives

• Minimum three years’ experience in Danish copywriting and/or translation, ideally within the food, lifestyle, or tech industries and across multiple marketing platforms

• Strong understanding of Danish culture and consumer behavior, ideally with experience using insights to shape messaging

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment and navigate complex processes

• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

• A creative and conceptual mindset, with experience producing copy that brings brands to life
