Job Description:
SIXGEN is actively seeking candidates to provide critical support for a variety of IC, DoD, and DoJ customers. Our Security Engineer position conducts security assessments across a variety of applications, systems, and devices. These engineers should be comfortable with software and hardware security best practices.
• This role requires you to be a U.S. citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
• Location: Sterling, VA.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform software and hardware design reviews
• Review source code, schematics, and documentation
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of compiled code
• Conduct Software Composition Analysis (SCA) to identify and critique risks associated with the software in question.
• Generate reports based on findings as well as provide correctional steps and analysis.
• Develop tools and scripts to augment workflow
• Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices, current security tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Familiarity and understanding of cryptologic algorithms, implementations, and techniques.
• Develop proof of concept capabilities as needed.
