Key Responsibilities:

Operate vehicles in airside areas as per DA AVOP regulations.

Transport baggage and other essential items between designated airport locations.

Lift, load, and transport items weighing up to 70 lbs. as part of baggage handling.

Comply with airport safety protocols and traffic regulations.

Conduct pre-use inspections of assigned vehicles and report any issues.

Assist in baggage handling and ground operations if required.

Respond to on-the-job emergencies as per safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

Valid DA AVOP and Valid PURPLE RAIC.

Availability to work the designated shifts.

Ability to lift to 70 lbs. on a regular basis.

Previous experience in airside operations, ground handling, or aviation is an asset

Understanding of airside safety protocols and airport procedures.

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Availability for irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime

Physically capable of performing tasks related to baggage handling.

Employment Conditions

Assignments will be awarded in accordance with the CBA.

Probation/trial period applies as per company policy.

Loss or suspension of RAIC/AVOP may result in removal from position.

All new assignments are conditional on successful training completion.
