As a Cycle Test Engineer at Bosch eBike Systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality, reliability, and safety of our cutting-edge eBike products. You will be instrumental in the validation of our innovative systems, directly impacting the cycling experience. • Perform rigorous manual test execution and in-depth analysis of eBike system tests, ensuring performance and robustness.

 
• Conduct comprehensive development-accompanying tests at the component level, identifying and resolving potential issues early.

 
• Collaborate closely with our Software Development team, providing critical feedback and ensuring seamless integration of features.

 
• Participate actively in requirement reviews, guaranteeing testability and clarity of product specifications.

 
• Drive bug reporting and issue tracking processes, contributing to continuous improvement and high-quality software releases.

What distinguishes you: 

• Education: Master’s degree in IT, Mechatronics, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.

 
• Experience:• Proven experience in test execution, system validation, or quality assurance within an embedded systems environment.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO 13849/FUSI) is a significant advantage.
• Experience with debugging tools like Lauterbach is preferred.

 

• Know-how:• Proficiency with testing and development tools, such as: Xray, CAN, CANoe, vTESTstudio, Git, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of requirements management and traceability principles.

 

• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).

 
• Working Style and Methods:• A proactive, self-driven approach, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of complex topics and drive them to completion.
• Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail in test execution and documentation.

 

• Personality:• Strong team collaborator who supports collective goals and demonstrates a continuous learning mindset.
• An enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in cutting-edge technology and its application in the eBike domain.
