Cybersecurity Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Team Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will be responsible for supporting and implementing cybersecurity solutions based on Microsoft cloud security technologies. The role involves collaboration with sales teams, participation in security operations activities, and delivery of security services to customers.

The role contributes to the implementation, configuration, and support of cybersecurity platforms while participating in incident response processes and security operations activities.

Requirements:
Job Responsibilities

• Team leadership and coordination of cross functional cybersecurity teams, including task prioritization, incident escalation management, mentoring of junior analysts, and alignment with business and security objectives
• Advanced cybersecurity engineering including CyberArk Privileged Access Management and Endpoint Privilege Management with Azure Active Directory Privileged Identity Management, data loss prevention with Microsoft Purview and Azure Information Protection, breach and attack simulation with AttackIQ and SafeBreach, vulnerability assessments, Exchange Hybrid deployments, Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, ISO 27001 coordination
• Presales engineering and solution architecture for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Intune, including technical design, proof of concepts, and detailed architecture documentation (Power Platform, Azure DevOps)
• Deployment and operation of cloud infrastructure and security services across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Defender suite, Microsoft Sentinel, Logic Apps automation, Azure Active Directory Connect, Intune device management, Conditional Access, multi factor authentication, and Identity Protection
• Secure access and network implementation using Azure VPN Gateway and OpenVPN Access Server with Security Assertion Markup Language based authentication and single sign on through Azure Active Directory, including integrations with Azure and Amazon Web Services environments
• Security Operations and Security Operations Center activities including incident response leadership, threat hunting, onboarding and tuning of Microsoft Sentinel, endpoint detection and response with Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon and Cisco Umbrella, and centralized management via Microsoft 365 Lighthouse

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, or security operations roles.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security services.
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies, including Conditional Access and SAML authentication.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or Cisco Umbrella.
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with security operations and incident response processes.
• Professional certifications in Microsoft or cybersecurity technologies will be considered a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Greek.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• CyberArk Defender / CyberArk Privileged Access Manager certification (or similar PAM certification)
