The Role

We're looking for a Cybersecurity Intern to join our Cybersecurity team and contribute to protecting one of France's leading crypto platforms.

In this role, you won't be on the sidelines. You'll work on real security challenges in a regulated fintech environment. From identity and access management to compliance tooling, from endpoint security to incident response support, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of operational security.

This is a unique opportunity to learn how cybersecurity works in a fast-growing, YC-backed company operating under MiCA, DORA, and ACPR expectations. Here, security isn't just a checkbox - it's a core part of the product.

What You'll Be Doing

Identity & Access Management
You'll deploy and manage access controls across our tools. This includes processing access requests, conducting access reviews, and helping enforce the principle of least privilege across the organization.

Endpoint Security & MDM
You'll help deploy and configure our Mobile Device Management solution across the company's Mac fleet. Your goal will be to ensure compliance with security policies: disk encryption, OS updates, EDR deployment, and VPN configuration.

Security Tooling & DevSecOps
You'll support the integration and monitoring of security tools in our CI/CD pipeline. This means working with vulnerability scanning tooling and helping triage security alerts.

Compliance & Documentation
You'll contribute to GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) documentation for DORA, MiCA, and internal audits. This includes helping maintain our security policies (PSSI), risk registers, and vendor security assessments.

Security Awareness
You'll support the rollout of security awareness campaigns and help create engaging content to keep the team vigilant against phishing and social engineering.

Incident Support
You'll participate in security incident investigations alongside the team. You'll learn to analyze suspicious activities using fraud detection tooling.

What We're Looking For

• This is a 4 to 6-month internship (stage) starting in September 2026, based in Paris with a flexible hybrid setup.

• You're currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.

• You have a strong interest in operational security, compliance, or security engineering. You're comfortable with technical environments.

• You're curious, autonomous, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

• You communicate well in French and English.

Interview Process

Intro Call (30 min)

An initial conversation with our Head of Cyber Security to get to know you better and share more details about the role, the team, and how we work at Bitstack.

Technical Discussion (45 min)

A conversation to explore your technical background, interests, and how you approach security challenges.

Behavioural Interview (45 min)

A conversation with a member of the leadership team centered on your experiences, decision-making, and collaboration style.
