Cybersecurity Architect / Practice Lead

Valleysoft | Center of Excellence is on the lookout for a highly experienced Cybersecurity Architect / Practice Lead to take charge of our cybersecurity initiatives and lead our team of cybersecurity professionals. In this role, you will develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies that align with our clients' business objectives while protecting their critical assets.

The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of security solutions, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on security architecture. Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to cybersecurity threats are essential in this position.

Requirements:
• Build and lead Valleysoft’s cybersecurity service offerings
• Design enterprise security architectures (Zero Trust, Network Segmentation, Cloud Security)
• Lead client security assessments, risk analysis, and solution design
• Support presales, RFP responses, and technical proposals
• Define security governance, policies, and compliance frameworks
• Oversee vulnerability management, SOC integration, and incident response strategies
• Review and approve security implementations across projects
• Advise clients on regulatory and security best practices

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in cybersecurity architecture or consulting roles
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and standards
• Experience with network security, IAM, SIEM, SOC, and vulnerability management
• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid security architectures
• Experience supporting enterprise or banking sector clients is highly preferred
• Strong client-facing and communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, ISO 27001, or equivalent
