We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cloud security and governance. This role is responsible for strengthening the organization’s cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and O365 environments while ensuring compliance with global security frameworks. You will play a key role in implementing secure architectures, managing threat detection and response processes, and driving security best practices across teams. The position requires hands-on expertise in cloud security controls, compliance frameworks, and security operations, along with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to embed “security by design” principles.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Security & Architecture
• Implement and optimize AWS security best practices including IAM, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty, WAF, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
• Ensure secure configuration of VPCs, encryption mechanisms, key management, logging, and monitoring.
• Conduct periodic audits and configuration reviews of cloud services.
• Strengthen security posture across AWS, Azure, and O365 platforms.
Compliance & Governance
• Support and maintain compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and related frameworks.
• Assist in internal and external audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses.
• Develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure effective log management, monitoring, and reporting of critical events.
Threat Management & Security Operations
• Establish SOC processes, metrics, and incident response mechanisms.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement remediation plans.
• Oversee implementation of SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Support business continuity planning and incident response playbooks.
Awareness & Collaboration
• Drive organization-wide security awareness and training initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a security-first culture.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and business teams to ensure secure system design and deployment.
What Makes You a Great Fit
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong exposure to cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services and cloud governance controls.
• Solid understanding of network security, encryption standards, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with vulnerability management, SIEM tools, and VAPT processes.
• Practical knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to incidents.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor (preferred).
