About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CWB Certified Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welds in accordance with CWB standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks in accordance with CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) standards
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Set up and operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core as applicable)
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
Valid CWB welding certification (specify process if required)
GMAW and FCAW stainless
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
