As a Cut Floor Supervisor at Prestage, you will lead and coordinate the daily operations on the cut floor to ensure smooth production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. You will supervise a team of employees, manage workflow, and work closely with other departments to meet production goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and guide cut floor staff to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
• Manage and prioritize daily production schedules and workloads.
• Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees.
• Coordinate with management and other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of production, staffing, and inventory levels.
• Address and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or operational challenges promptly.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or meat processing environment.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
• Familiarity with operational procedures and relevant software tools.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working in cold and wet facility environments.
Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to work varied shifts as needed.
• Occasional travel may be required.
