Who We Are Looking For:

Main Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:

·       Prepare and process import/export documents and other forms on behalf of clients in accordance with customs regulations, laws and procedures

·       Prepare entry forms that include rail movement information such as classification codes, country of origin, weights and quantities

·       Submit documentation to customs government department

·       Assist clients in securing paperwork needed to qualify imports for trade programs

·       Help clients with export rail movement; provide information on export licenses and submit information through automated export systems

·       Represent clients under a power of attorney with custom officials

·       Apply for tariff reclassifications and duty refunds and

·       Coordinate transportation and storage of imported goods.

Candidate Profile:

·       Must have a minimum 2 years customs brokerage experience;

·       Valid customhouse broker license and CCS certification preferred;

·       Excellent customer service skills;

·       Supply Chain/Logistics/ customs brokerage education a bonus;

·       Previous customer service experience required;

·       Knowledge of complex import laws and regulations;

·       Excellent computer skills; advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel;

·       Must be willing to travel; Must have access to a vehicle;

·       Able to pass pre-employment Criminal Background Check.
