We’re looking for a welcoming, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Brandon team.
This is much more than a traditional front-office role. As the face of our Brandon location, you will play a critical part in creating a positive and memorable customer experience while supporting order coordination, inventory management, and day-to-day office operations. Working with us:
Regular hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with some overtime required from time to time based on business and event needs. This is an in-person role working at 921 Douglas Street Unit B, Brandon, Manitoba.
This position includes a combination of office, customer service, and warehouse responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with another team member to balance daily priorities, customer needs, and operational tasks while ensuring excellent service and support throughout the day. Flexibility with breaks and lunch times is required to support customer needs and scheduled onsite visits.
Occasional lifting of feed bags, pails, and product inventory may be required, along with forklift operation and warehouse organization.
What you’ll do:
Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience
Welcome customers, answer incoming calls, and provide professional and friendly support.
Build strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, suppliers, and team members.
Support walk-in customers with product inquiries, refreshments, and a welcoming environment.
Coordinate customer requests and communicate with the sales team to ensure excellent follow-up and service.
Order Processing & Administrative Support
Process feed, animal health, and equipment orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare order documentation, packing slips, and shipping paperwork.
Maintain accurate customer records and inventory documentation.
Assist with invoicing and order tracking systems.
Support feed sample preparation and shipment coordination.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
Receive and verify incoming shipments.
Organize inventory and restock products following FIFO practices.
Coordinate shipments and transfers between locations.
Assist with inventory counts and reporting.
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
Support a clean, organized, and safe office and warehouse environment.
Office Coordination & Team Support
Open and close the office daily.
Help maintain a welcoming, professional office environment.
Coordinate with teams across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Ontario.
Support customer courtesy vehicle management and office organization.
Assist with miscellaneous administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Event & Community Support
Assist with planning and coordinating customer appreciation events, trade shows, and industry activities.
Support event setup, tear-down, and organization.
Work with internal marketing and sales teams on local event coordination.
Your background includes:
Previous experience in customer service, administration, office coordination, or a similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple responsibilities
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Forklift experience or willingness to obtain forklift training
Ability to lift up to 25 kg feed bags and assist in a warehouse environment
Farming or livestock industry knowledge is considered an asset
Experience working with Hutterite customers is considered an asset
Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn
