Customer Service Associate ECommerce
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process ECommerce orders including shipping paperwork and details
Deliver exceptional customer service and sales support via phone, email, online chat, & social media
Receive and answer customer inquiries and concerns, including requests for product information, order tracking, issue resolution, and general information
Resolve post-order issues such as returns, replacements, delivery status and back orders
Partner with operations daily
Proactively provide solutions
Cross train with bulk container Customer Service
Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
1-3 years of experience in the furniture industry highly desired
Have excellent listening and communication skills
Have the ability to clearly speak and be understood on the phone
Have the ability to utilize technology and respond to customers electronically
Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms
Demonstrate the ability to multi-task skills to enter accurate data and type while speaking with customers
Remain calm and able to work under pressure when busy and help other team members
Self-manage daily tasks and workload
Show a high level of personal organizational skills
Creative aptitude and vision to recognize, understand and respond to the needs of customers
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments as needed
Prioritize inquiries based on level of urgency, identifying matters that require an immediate response
Other job duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
3+ years in customer service with furniture and Operations is a plus
Working knowledge of website navigation
Container Customer Service and/or Logistics experience is a plus
Furniture or Furniture parts experience is a plus
Pay based on experience; $18-$20/hr.
