Ensure the proper execution of engineering services by providing technical support to customers and guaranteeing quality in techno-commercial proposals, product installations, troubleshooting of issues, and post-sales follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and conduct customer visits to provide technical support according to their needs and John Crane product specifications.
• Review applications based on operating conditions and technical data to ensure optimal product performance.
• Perform field data collection (equipment surveys) to identify improvement and standardization opportunities.
•  Apply product selection aligned with standardization strategies.
• Prepare dimensional and General Arrangement (GA) drawings in compliance with customer requirements and design standards.
• Review and clarify drawings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regional engineering to obtain approvals and implement changes requested by customers or the commercial team.
• Manage the creation and update of GPN and BOM through Project Request, in coordination with the Data Team.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams (commercial, manufacturing, quality) to ensure proper project execution.
• Participate in commercial projects and special processes, providing technical and strategic support.
• Supervise and/or perform installation and commissioning of equipment (mechanical seals, couplings, and lubrication systems) at customer sites.
• Deliver technical and techno-commercial training to internal and external customers.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and failure analysis, issuing technical recommendations.
• Follow up on warranties, claims, installations, and post-sales services.
• Support key accounts in coordination with the commercial team for contracts and strategies (MRP & RSP).
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Perform other job-related duties in accordance with the role profile and required competencies.
• Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as Engineer Applications.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical seals and seal support systems.
• Basic knowledge of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, and centrifugal compressors, including their auxiliary systems.
• Knowledge of dry gas seals and their conditioning and control systems.
• Basic understanding of vibration analysis.
• Experience handling vibration monitoring equipment, thermography tools, and related diagnostic technologies.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
