A Day in the Life

An exciting opportunity for Customer Engagement, Training & Operations Support to join as an integral member of our highly successful Cardiovascular (CV) team based in Macquarie Park, Sydney. You will assist in ensuring all our CV Operating Units are supported from a compliance, logistics and customer engagement standpoint to deliver the best possible outcomes to our customers.

Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

• Administer Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Healthcare Organisation (HCO) engagement processes in strict accordance with Business Conduct Standards and compliance frameworks, including the preparation, review, and management of sponsorships, educational grants, charitable donations, and consultancy agreements via the compliance management system (ONIT)

• Ensure full compliance, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness for Medtronic training and educational events in accordance with Business Conduct Standards and compliance frameworks via the event compliance management system (CVENT)

• Coordinate Healthcare Professional (HCP) travel arrangements through approved Medtronic suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to Business Conduct Standards and compliance frameworks. Communicate clearly and proactively with HCPs (customers) and internal stakeholders throughout event planning and travel coordination processes

• Manage Marketing and Operations procurement activities, including purchase order creation, invoice processing, and financial documentation via Ariba and ONIT systems, maintaining budget accuracy and financial controls. This includes establish and manage blanket purchase orders to support structured financial planning and operational efficiency

• Manage direct and indirect supplier set up process to SAP, ensuring adherence to procurement governance requirements and ongoing master data maintenance to maintain data accuracy and integrity

• Other general operations / admin tasks as required

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required  

• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or coordinator position, ideally with a background in supporting sales, marketing, compliance, or travel logistics

• Experience in MedTech or Healthcare industry but open to experience in other sectors

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong stakeholder management capabilities

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

• Proven capability to comply with processes and operate required systems efficiently

• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude

• Well-versed in using the MS Office suite and other standard computer applications

• Ability to foster positive relationships and work cooperatively as part of a team
