Job Summary
As a Connectivity Services Engineer, you will work in international teams focused on customer
experience and satisfaction, installing, coordinating and operating global connectivity solutions
for multinational organizations. Specifically, you will support our customer teams and the 24x7
Mission Control Operations Center in close collaboration with our customers. You will be
responsible for managing and delivering connectivity solutions to our customers. Your analytical
Mindset Combining with a customer-service-first approach will help you thrive. Ideally, you have
Networking knowledge or are eager to acquire this knowledge to successfully drive customer happiness.
You will
Learn about the Open Systems service portfolio, connectivity solutions, and operational processes.
Connectivity related administration tasks incl. order and RFS date tracking, ISP quality assurance and connectivity delivery handover.
Design, deploy and maintain WAN solutions using technologies such as SD-WAN and leased line
Work with ISPs and telecom providers for provisioning and issue resolutions.
Manage circuit Upgrades, migrations and service decommissions.
Project management and logistics, coordination, and communication.
Implement network redundancy, failover, and high availability solutions.
Monitor WAN performance, latency, and packet loss. Perform root cause analysis.
Contribute excellent customer connectivity experience and delivery of the best possible connectivity to our international customers.
Work in close collaboration with the Customer Operations and Project Management teams.
Provide first-class connectivity expertise and support to our customer connectivity requests and incidents by working in our Mission Control Operation Center, which provides 24x7 support.
Required
Strong experience with WAN technologies (SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, IPSec).
Deep knowledge and experience of TCP/IP, BGP, QoS, DNS, DHCP and network monitoring tools
Prior work with ISPs and multinational organizations on connectivity projects.
Highly motivated to learn new skills in training programs offered by internal domain experts and colleagues.
Customer-facing English on the phone, under pressure, with technical and non-technical counterparts.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Connectivity/Administration/Communication/Computer Science/ or related field.
MSP or carrier background operating against external SLAs.
