The Dundee Township Park District is looking for dedicated and hardworking Custodians to help maintain our beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy!
What You’ll Do
As a Custodian, you’ll:
Ensure facilities are clean and ready for guests by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
Set up and take down rooms for classes, programs, and rentals.
Perform minor building maintenance and light repairs such as changing lightbulbs and painting.
Support the team by monitoring building safety, securing doors and windows, and reporting any issues.
Maintain outdoor areas, including shoveling snow and salting sidewalks when needed.
Represent the Dundee Township Park District’s Mission by creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.
Who You Are
You’re a proactive team player with:
A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and take initiative.
A positive attitude and good communication skills.
A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
A minimum age of 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, buffers, floor machines) is a plus!
Schedule
Work hours vary:
Monday – Friday between 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Saturday & Sunday between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Hours may change based on program needs or after-hours rentals.
