Job Description

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, driven, flexible and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be motivated to provide the highest level of quality work. The position requires availability to work some weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts). There are weekday shifts available that can be scheduled but weekend availability is required.

Hub 757 hosts a variety of events such as weddings, business meetings and seminars, social gatherings, trade shows, etc. and is also home to a full-time day school as well as a nondenominational church. Custodian and Crew Members will be responsible for cleaning during or after daily and weekly functions. Cleaning services are required following each of the school, church, and event center events. This is a part time position that requires you to be knowledgeable in custodial services as well as the use and application of chemicals such as disinfectants, sanitizers, and other solutions. This position will also aid in setting up tables and chairs before events and taking them down after events.

Job Duties & Tasks:

Follow directions issued by Facility Director and Night Shift Leads

Responsible for sweeping and mopping floors

Vacuums carpeting; removes spots and stains

Sanitizes restrooms as well as replaces toilet paper, paper towels, and soap

Wash and polish bathroom fixtures

Sanitizing all additional surfaces

Transport and empty trash cans into outdoor unit then sanitize trash cans

Set up and take down tables and chairs in event spaces following a set up floor plan

Job Requirements:

Must be available to work weekends, late hours and midafternoons on Sundays

Consistent punctuality and attendance

Maintain equipment and materials used throughout the shift

Lock and unlock doors, activate the alarm system

Must be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and professional manner

Must be able to work independently without direct supervision

Regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stand, and lift at least 50 pounds
