JOB OVERVIEW
Private Pension Partners Realty Services (“P3 Realty Services”) is looking for a Custodian and Waste Management Attendant to join our growing team. As the Custodian & Waste Management Attendant, you represent the face of our building as well as P3 Realty and as such you have the ability to present yourself in a professional and positive manner while elevating first impressions of the overall sanitation and recycling at 835 Sterling Lyon Parkway (“LXTX”) and recycling and custodian duties at 765 Sterling Lyon Parkway (the “Ascot”). As the Building Custodian & Waste Management Attendant, you will ultimately report to the Property Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the building at the Ascot is safe and secure, is well maintained, visually, mechanically and operationally, and will ensure the day-to-day cleaning tasks have been performed accordingly to ensure the health and comfort of our tenants;
Collect recyclable bins from refuse rooms and empty into corresponding bins on site at the Ascot;
Collect waste and recyclable bins from refuse rooms and empty each into their corresponding bins on site at LXTX;
Inspect containers for damage, leaking contents, and insect infestations before collecting them;
Maintain order in common areas by ensuring refuse rooms are in a clean and orderly state at all times at both the Ascot and LXTX;
Ensure all entrances are free and clear of debris, dirt, and snow at the Ascot (during inclement weather);
Completes snow removal tasks such as sanding, shovelling sidewalks, steps, and doorways as needed during winter months at the Ascot, including maintaining a snow log;
Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Maintaining the asset and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Proficient in basic computer literacy;
Ability to work effectively in a rapidly growing/changing environment with a high degree of resourcefulness and adaptability;
Able to work flexible hours, as needed;
Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills;
Proven written and verbal communication skills;
Proven ability to adapt readily to change;
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time;
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions; and
Previous experience in custodial services, janitorial work or waste management.
