CSR Team Lead – Recycling Industry
📍 Onsite – Deerfield, FL (1 remote day per week after onboarding)
🕒 Schedule: Flexible hours, typically around 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
💰 Salary: $65,000–$80,000 base + generous benefits including 401(k), medical, PTO, and paid holidays
A growing privately owned recycling company is seeking a Customer Service Team Lead to oversee daily customer operations, scheduling, and escalation management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, enjoys leading a team, and excels at keeping complex schedules and customer relationships running smoothly.
You’ll serve as the key liaison between suppliers, customers, freight partners, and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination for a high-volume operation supporting one of the company’s largest national clients.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between suppliers, customers, freight companies, and internal departments
Oversee and support a team of 2–4 Customer Service Representatives, providing guidance and handling escalations
Coordinate and schedule approximately 5,300 loads per month for a major national client
Manage dispatching and appointment scheduling to ensure efficient logistics operations
Balance administrative scheduling responsibilities with higher-level problem solving
Utilize Cietrade, Excel, and Microsoft Office to manage scheduling, track loads, and maintain accurate records
Ensure clear communication and smooth workflow across multiple stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of customer service experience
1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Experience in solid waste, recycling, or related logistics industries
Background in dispatching and scheduling appointments
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume workflows
Strong aptitude and problem-solving ability — attitude and capability matter more than years alone 🚛♻️
