To strengthen our Technology & Engineering organization at the Antwerp site, we are looking for a CSA Lead (Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineering) within the Intermediates business.

IMAGINE THE FUTURE AT ENVALIOR

As CSA Lead, you lead the Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering team and are responsible for all CSA-related topics at the Antwerp site. You report to the Discipline Lead and manage a team of CSA engineers and supervisors.

You act as the technical authority for CSA engineering, ensure compliance with European standards and local legislation, and play a key role in both small and large capital projects. Safety, quality and engineering excellence are at the core of everything you do.

You will make an impact by:

• Leading and organizing the CSA (civil, structural and architectural) engineering group within the Discipline & Design team
• Acting as the site-wide CSA expert and providing technical support across the Antwerp site
• Taking responsibility for all CSA-related projects or the CSA scope within multidisciplinary projects
• Defining and maintaining CSA technical standards, guidelines and specifications for the site
• Ensuring CSA technical drawings are accurate, up to date and aligned with piping and other disciplines
• Managing CSA-related contracts and frame agreements
• Ensuring civil permitting compliance and alignment with local building and energy regulations (e.g. EPB)
• Coordinating and executing CSA project activities, including:
• Defining CSA scope together with project stakeholders
• Coordinating external engineering and design offices and validating their calculations
• Performing first-line stability and structural calculations where applicable
• Managing architectural, concrete and steel construction drawings and models
• Preparing and validating cost estimates and tender documentation
• Leading technical negotiations with civil contractors
• Overseeing ordering, execution, inspection and acceptance of civil works

• Supporting the continuous improvement cycle for CSA-related topics
• Leading or contributing to small and large investment projects
• Acting in full compliance with SHE standards, life-saving rules and environmental principles
• Supporting root cause analyses related to CSA topics
• Developing and maintaining a strong external network within the CSA domain

Requirements:
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• You hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• You have 10+ years of relevant experience as a civil / structural engineer in an industrial environment
• You have strong expertise in:
• Concrete and steel structures
• Corrosion protection
• Excavation and earthworks
• Industrial and acid-resistant construction
• Roofing, cladding and fall protection systems
• Roads, pavements and rail infrastructure
• Insulation, scaffolding, tracing and painting

• You are familiar with tools such as SAP, AutoCAD, TEKLA, STRAKON and Revit
• You have solid knowledge of European CSA standards and building legislation
• You combine deep technical expertise with strong people management skills
• You are decisive, results-driven and able to balance project speed with quality and SHE requirements
• You communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders
• You demonstrate ownership, accountability and a strong safety mindset
