Cryptography Engineer, Vietnam

We are looking for a Cryptography Engineer as part of Engineering – Security and Ops Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Develop cryptographic features and Interfacing/ customizing Hardware Secure Module (HSM) to provide necessary cryptographic services to our Crypto Assets related products.
•    Work with PO and in-house security experts, securely integrate the Crypto Assets related products to Web based applications for better efficiency and scalability.
•    Provide Cryptography consultancy to other teams, promote security best practices in coding and appropriate utilization of cryptographic primitives.
•    Providing technical support to external customers, including troubleshooting cryptographic implementations, triaging and managing technical issues, and communicating complex concepts in accessible language for users with varying technical backgrounds.

Requirements

Must have

•    Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or other Natural Science/Mathematics major, or equivalent experience.

•    Min 2 years of equivalent experiences.

•    Strong interested and passionate in Cryptography and Security
•    Programming skills in C and Java; additional experience with Python and Shell scripting is preferred.
•    Have good understandings on various Cryptography Primitives and their properties.
•    Have knowledge of both symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms.
•    Ability and willingness to study new technology and methodology.
•    Self-driven, able to translate requirements into action items.
•    Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

•    Web application / server development experience is welcome.
•    Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of deploying, managing, or integrating cryptographic solutions in cloud environments.
•    Able to Identify the needs of the customers / stakeholders and provide recommendation based on security best practices and our product strategy.
•    Ability to identify unconventional trends and emerging technologies.
•    Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Good time-management skills.
•    Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
