As a Cross-border Analyst, you will work in close collaboration with the members of the Team who are in charge of cross-border matters Group-wide, including client onboarding, and will report to the Head Cross-border and ultimately the Head of the Department. 

You will have a wide range of tasks which include: 

• Perform cross-border monitoring and second line of defence controls Group-wide (e.g. calls & files review; verification of websites, applications & social media). 
• Provide cross-border support to different departments of the Bank as well as to other entities of the Group, in particular in relation to requests for projected marketing campaigns, requests to enter into business relationships with other financial intermediaries such as asset managers, travel requests. 
• Support on the issuance and implementation of effective processes, incl. audits and development of appropriate supporting tools, in particular through digitalization. 
• Account opening of clients introduced and/or managed by external partners.  
• Support on consolidated supervision in relation to other entities of the Group for cross-border purposes. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, preferably obtained from an EPF institution (EPFL/ETH Zurich), with knowledge of banking law, compliance, or financial regulation.
• A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline is a strong asset. 
• Excel skills are a must. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a taste for thoroughness. 
• First experience in dealing with cross-border and/or banking and/or finance is a plus. 
• Excellent knowledge of French and English is a must (any other language is an asset). 
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
