Commonwealth Medical Services is excited to announce an opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our talented team in Pennsylvania. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for performing pre-anesthesia assessments, developing anesthesia care plans, and administering anesthesia agents safely and effectively. You will collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a smooth surgical experience. Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations and consultations with patients
• Administer various forms of anesthesia and monitor patients' vital signs throughout the surgical procedure
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with the surgical team
• Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications efficiently and effectively
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and anesthesia standards
• Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and address any concerns or questions
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices in anesthesia care
Requirements:
• Valid CRNA certification and state licensure in Pennsylvania
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA preferred
• Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations with composure and professionalism
