Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Critical Care Service Line. Under the supervision of a board-certified intensivist, you will play a key role in assessing, managing, and coordinating the care of critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the intensivist and care team to provide high-quality patient care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings
Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing patient care
Communicate with nursing staff and referring physicians to ensure seamless care coordination
Adhere to all hospital policies, clinical protocols, and applicable Florida state regulations
Stay current with industry standards and best practices to support a safe and reliable patient experience
Engage in professional development and continuous learning within advanced nursing practice
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited physician assistant or acute care nurse practitioner program
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida
Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care or emergency nursing; 2 years of ICU experience in ACNP scope preferred
Ideal candidate will have proficiency in advanced procedures
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
BLS and ACLS certifications
Commitment to evidence-based care and interdisciplinary collaboration

7 on 7 off schedule
