The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for Cresting Associates to join our team for the 2026 baseball season.
OVERVIEW
The retail team is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with a passion for creating exceptional experiences to join the Jays Shop roster for the 2026 season. Our team-driven culture, stimulating atmosphere, and impact on the game day fan experience has established Jays Shop as the leading destination for Toronto Blue Jays official team merchandise.
We are seeking Cresting Associates who have a desire to be on a winning team, both on and off the field. As a Jays Shop team member, you are responsible for elevating the fan experience through their merchandise needs – outfitting fans as they unite and show off their pride as part of the Blue Jays community. Successful candidates will have the primary responsibility of creating unforgettable moments through excellent customer service and communication skills, as a frontline staff member fulfilling our in-house jersey customization. All Cresting Associates are part of the larger Jays Shop retail team and are responsible for fulfilling Retail Sales Associate responsibilities and standards.
Please note that these are seasonal roles aligned with the baseball and Rogers Centre events schedule, spanning from approximately April to November 2026. These positions are part-time contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote Jays Shop jersey customization service to fans in-store. Enthusiastically and responsibly interact with fans, attending to their needs to deliver the ultimate fan experience.
Customize licensed Toronto Blue Jays jerseys with accuracy and precision, with a deep knowledge of equipment and jersey specifications.
Assist fans with full jersey order flow, including facilitating Fanzones orders and fulfilling payment(s) using the point-of-sale system.
Execute large volume jersey player customization plans for active store stock of Jays Shop locations.
Organize and maintain cresting decoration (letter and number) inventory. Order decorations and components as required to maintain healthy on-hand inventory at cresting locations.
Enforce inventory controls in Jays Shop locations; including preserving and maintaining the condition of merchandise, adhering to loss prevention guidelines, and completing cycle counts with accuracy.
Ensure all day-to-day cresting and store operations are carried out in an orderly and professional approach.
Ensure cresting booth(s) remain physically appealing and profitable, by regularly cleaning and organizing spaces.
Effectively communicate product features, promotions, available services, and relevant ballpark and club information.
Diffuse fan escalations with professionalism and promptly, with appropriate communication to leadership team.
Communicate fan feedback to the leadership team, to enrich overall stadium and merchandise experience.
Contribute to the positive team dynamic, fostering a safe and welcoming space for all staff and fans.
Adhere to and enforce all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols within Jays Shop locations and across the ballpark.
Contribute to all other retail sales floor duties as needed. Participate in the merchandise sales, distribution, and overall experience for other Rogers Centre events, including concerts.
Perform additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
A commitment to service excellence, with previous retail or customer service experience required. Previous jersey customization experience strongly preferred.
Enjoys a high energy environment and demonstrates an appreciation of the diverse background of Toronto Blue Jays fans and Jays Shop staff.
Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a professional and friendly demeanour.
Outgoing, passionate, and self-motivated; able to work well with and without direct supervision.
Significant attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high level of accuracy.
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment and work proficiently under pressure.
Ability to work independently and with a team; possesses a collaborative frame of mind.
Knowledge and understanding of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Physical stamina and mobility including ability to lift, carry, kneel, bend, and reach.
Salary: The anticipated base compensation for this role is $18.20 per hour.
