WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some evening or weekend flexibility may be needed)
ACCOUNTABLE TO: CEO
ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Direct credit repair support, client case management, dispute handling, education delivery, and CRM documentation
CLASSIFICATION: WEBEN
COMPENSATION RANGE: PHP 283.63 per hour, or performance-based commission structure (as applicable)
ANTICIPATED TRAVEL: Minimal; may include occasional community events or presentations
SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Credit Repair Specialist provides expert support to clients working to repair and rebuild their credit profiles. This role includes reviewing credit reports, identifying discrepancies, preparing disputes, offering financial literacy guidance, and maintaining accurate client records. The specialist serves as both an advisor and advocate, ensuring that clients understand their credit journey and receive ethical, compliant, and results-driven service.
SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review client credit reports from all three major bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax)
Identify inaccurate, outdated, unverifiable, or fraudulent information for dispute
Prepare and submit credit disputes via appropriate channels (mail, online, fax)
Track dispute cycles, responses, deletions, and follow-up requirements
Communicate regularly with clients to update them on progress and offer actionable advice
Deliver financial education related to budgeting, credit utilization, debt management, and savings
Maintain accurate notes, documentation, and client progress in CRM software
Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FCRA, FDCPA, CROA) and internal policies
Maintain confidentiality of all client financial data and sensitive documentation
Collaborate with internal team members to resolve escalated or complex cases
UNSCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support community workshops, webinars, or financial education events
Respond to client inquiries and questions promptly, even outside scheduled check-ins
Assist with onboarding new clients or conducting initial credit report reviews
Stay informed about changes in credit reporting laws and industry best practices
Recommend process improvements or tools to enhance client outcomes and efficiency
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds (e.g., laptops, files, materials for presentations)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Remote, hybrid, or office-based based on assignment
Quiet, confidential, and client-sensitive environment
Requires access to secure digital platforms and reliable internet
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Deep understanding of credit reporting, credit scoring, and credit repair practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Client-focused, patient, and empathetic service approach
Familiarity with credit repair software, CRM systems, and dispute tools
High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
LEVEL OF EDUCATION / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Certification in credit counseling, financial education, or FICO knowledge is a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in credit repair, financial services, or client support roles
Knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, and consumer rights in credit reporting
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required
