Credit Controller with Accounting Support

Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from clients.
• Perform credit checks on new and existing clients and establish appropriate credit limits.
• Create and maintain accurate aged debtor reports for analysis.
• Engage proactively with clients to resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports for the management team.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy in general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Support the processing of refunds and write-offs with comprehensive backup documentation.
• Provide valuable insights on credit risk and contribute to ongoing risk management strategies.
• Support ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required by the finance department.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar accounting role, ideally with at least 3 years in the industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills would be advantageous.
