Job Description
• Deep hands-on experience in CC product design and CVP definition including card product suites, rewards and loyalty programs, fee structures, limit management, and segment-specific propositions for retail, corporate, and SME customers.
• Solid understanding of CC credit risk and approval mechanics including RAC frameworks, pre-approval logic, tiered cutoffs, ETB vs. NTB decisioning, and credit risk model interaction. Must be able to challenge and direct risk specialists, not necessarily model independently.
• Proven ability to map and redesign customer journeys by documenting current-state flows, identifying friction points, and designing target-state experiences across digital and physical channels.
• Functional understanding of digital banking technologies including eKYC, OCR, digital card issuance, API-based integrations, and real-time decisioning systems. Able to define technical requirements and review IT solution designs without writing code.
• Experience preparing business cases and financial models for card product initiatives with comfort interpreting CC portfolio economics, revenue projections, and ROI frameworks.
• Analytical capability to work with CC funnel data and portfolio metrics including activation rates, approval rates, time-to-card, transaction volumes, and average balance trends, and use these to drive product decisions.
• Familiarity with SAMA regulations, and cashless transaction frameworks in the KSA market. Prior experience in KSA banking is strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills with the ability to work simultaneously across Risk, CX, IT, Digital, Finance, Marketing, Ops, and Legal divisions.
• Ability to translate complex product and technical requirements into clear documentation, backlog items, and training materials understandable by both business and IT audiences.
Requirements:
10-12 years of banking experience with credit cards as the primary product
