Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Our client is a high-growth, tech-forward mortgage brokerage based in North Perth that is redefining the lending experience through a seamless, paperless approach. We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be the analytical engine of the firm, focusing exclusively on Residential Mortgage scenarios. You will navigate lender policies and leverage a modern tech stack to ensure every application is structured for success and rapid approval.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Residential Scenario Analysis: Conduct precise servicing calculations using Quickli and lender-specific tools to determine accurate borrowing capacity for residential clients across a panel of 20+ lenders.
• Credit Strategy & Documentation: Prepare high-quality preliminary assessments and Credit Proposal Disclosure (CPD) documents that align with client goals and Best Interest Duty (BID) standards.
• Data Integrity & Submissions: Manage the end-to-end data flow within ApplyOnline and Loanapp, ensuring 100% accuracy between the client's fact-find and the lender’s portal.
• Workflow & Pipeline Management: Utilize Nexus CRM to track application milestones and manage documentation checklists, proactively minimizing lender "More Info" requests.
• Compliance Oversight: Execute internal audits on all files to ensure they meet the firm’s high standards for quality and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years of experience in credit analysis or senior loan processing strictly within the Australian residential mortgage industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ApplyOnline (NextGen), LoanApp (Simpology), and Quickli.
• Direct experience using Nexus or a comparable industry-standard CRM.
• Deep understanding of residential lending products, including construction loans, refinancing, and first-home buyer schemes.
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have):
• The ability to look at a complex scenario and identify the most viable lender path before the broker even asks.
• Strong internal reporting skills to keep the brokerage team informed of file progress and potential credit risks.
