About the Role

We are seeking a talented Creative Technologist for a temporary, contract role on our innovative team. This role merges artistic vision with cutting-edge AI technologies to produce exceptional visual content and enhance artistic workflows. As a part of our global AI transformation team, you will focus on enhancing production workflows across our teams.

* This temporary role is expected to run through December 20th, 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

* Expected to work a schedule consistent with the Eastern Time Zone (ET).

* Hourly rate: CAD $119/hour

Responsibilities:

PITCH:

• Support ongoing client pitches that drive R&D against real-world challenges, transforming insights into winning proposals that are pushing our craft towards transformation on every level of the creative execution flow.

• Work with various discipline leads collaborating on workflow and R&D so that we represent the best of NOW.

R&D:

• Push creative craft and development of R&D projects that showcase creative excellence through AI-enabled workflows.

• Engage in both client-directed R&D as well as proactive R&D to explore meaningful transformation in craft.

• Collaborate with a wider studio transformation team to ensure rapid and effective results across disciplines.

PIPELINE TRANSFORMATION - MONKS FLOW INTEGRATION:

• Drives generative AI workflow transformation, ensuring production processes are updated and tested for optimal craft delivery.

• Support automation teams to ensure integrate new processes into existing Monks AI related workflows & tool stacks.

• Proactively review and test new tools to keep workflows current in a rapidly evolving landscape.

CREATIVE CRAFT EXCELLENCE / AWARDS

• Champion excellence in craft, pushing the boundaries of making day to day, project to project. Ensuring that we activate creative workflows that are new and pushing transformation of craft into the “never been done before area”.

• Proven track record in winning awards and recognition.

About You

Tools Skills:

• Proficient in the Adobe toolstack.

• AI tool-stacks MUST HAVE: ComfyUI, Adobe (Firefly), MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, Magnific / Krea, and 3D Tooling.

• AI tool-stacks NICE TO HAVE: Chat GPT, Runway, LUMA, Eleven Labs

The essentials:

• 5+ years of experience in creative technology, interactive development, or digital innovation.

• Creative solutions are what you live and breathe, transitioning ideas to transformation by tech is what you love.

• Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.

• Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented and capable of self-managing and multitasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

• Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

• Able to apply critical and strategic thinking.

• Stress-tolerant, quick-thinking and accurate.

• Able to quickly understand new technology concepts.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player.

• Flexibility, initiative, dedication and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• A sense of humour, outgoing, articulate, well-informed, intelligent, confident and possessing common sense.

• A skilled, creative, confident presenter and negotiator.

• Fluent in spreadsheets (Google Sheets preferred).

• Strong abilities in Google Workspace.

What We Offer

Monks has provided an hourly rate that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The rate offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
