About Us
Mint Source is a remote-first bridge that connects vibrant talent with international clients and agencies, enabling skilled individuals to showcase their expertise on a global stage.
Role Overview
Mint Source is hiring a Creative Strategist (Static Ads) to join a performance marketing agency that produces high-volume static ad creatives in-house and manages full-funnel campaigns for DTC/e-commerce brands on Meta and TikTok. You will drive the research-to-brief pipeline, digging into customer insights, competitor creative, and market signals to develop angles and headlines that stop the scroll. You will also serve as the final quality gate, reviewing every ad before it ships to ensure copy, layout, and messaging are sharp. You will work alongside a project manager who helps manage priorities and team output, so collaboration is baked into the workflow. This role is ideal for someone who would rather find the insight than make the graphic, and who holds creative work to a high standard.
What You'll Do
Research customer insights across client ad accounts, competitor libraries, Reddit, Amazon reviews, and customer conversations to surface angles that aren't obvious
Analyze performance data inside Meta Ads Manager across client accounts to identify what's working, what's fatiguing, and where creative gaps exist
Turn research into clear briefs that include angles, headlines, and visual direction for the design team
Write pattern-interrupting headlines that make it immediately clear what the product is and why it matters
Produce multiple headline variations on the same angle, each with a distinct voice and structure
Review every finished static ad before it ships, checking copy, layout, clarity, and creative variety
Track what has been sent, what has been rejected, and what is performing to inform future creative direction
Collaborate closely with a project manager to manage priorities, deadlines, and team output
Use the Meta Ad Library to reverse-engineer competitor creative and identify emerging patterns in the market
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in a creative strategy, copywriting, or ad production role focused on static ads for DTC/e-commerce brands
A portfolio or work samples that show strong headline writing, ad creative strategy, and research-driven thinking
Deep familiarity with Meta ad formats, Meta Ads Manager, and the Meta Ad Library, including how high-performing static ads are structured
A sharp research instinct. You know the difference between a surface-level pain point and the specific version of it that actually converts
The ability to articulate why an angle will work before it's tested. You don't just have instinct, you can explain your reasoning and back it up
The ability to write clear, scroll-stopping copy. You favor clarity over cleverness and can produce ten variations on the same angle without repeating yourself
Strong quality taste. You know what looks like a real ad versus a template, and you are not afraid to hold work back when it is not ready
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment where output matters as much as quality
Experience with consumer research methods (review mining, competitor analysis, community listening) is a plus
Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)
Quality and consistency of research briefs, measured by the percentage of angles that move to production without major revision
Headline performance, tracked by click-through rates and engagement on static ads across client accounts
QA catch rate, measured by the percentage of ads flagged and improved before shipping to the client
Creative variety across campaigns, ensuring layouts, angles, and messaging do not become repetitive
30/60/90-day ramp: by day 30, fully onboarded into the research and QA workflow with supervised output. By day 60, independently producing briefs and headlines with minimal revision. By day 90, operating as the trusted quality gate across all active accounts
What You Get
Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location
A fully remote role with the flexibility to work from anywhere
Autonomy over the creative strategy pipeline from research through final QA
Clear KPIs and structured feedback loops so you always know where you stand
Back-office support from Mint Source for payroll, onboarding, and HR
