Summary:
We are expanding our in-house Paid Media team and looking for a dynamic Creative Strategist to help bridge the gap between media and design. You will play a key role in elevating our digital-first campaigns by developing platform-native, insight-driven creative strategies that are aligned to business and performance goals and position SailGP as a world-class experience.
Working closely with the Paid Media Lead, Content, Design and Marketing teams, you will drive ideas from concept through to execution, helping ensure our paid media creative is both effective and brand-consistent.
This role is ideal for a strategically-minded creative with a passion for culture, storytelling and performance. Previous experience in the sports, events or entertainment industry is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Strategy & Storytelling:
Translate campaign briefs and business goals into compelling, insight-led creative strategies.
Develop platform-specific ideas and recommendations (across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Display and others) that feel native and drive engagement.
Create user journeys, define required assets and messaging frameworks across the funnel - aligning with the Brand agency to translate the Brand strategy into actionable creative outputs for digital media
Work with the wider Paid Media, Design and Marketing teams to ensure cohesion between message, medium and audience.
Facilitate the approach to creative within the wider Content team, offering clarity and performance insight
Bring forward innovative ideas and standout creative inspiration from across the wider industry
Performance & Platform Fluency
Understand how different creative formats impact performance KPIs (CTR, CVR etc.) and audience engagement
Regularly review and report on creative results, offering insights and optimisation ideas.
Keep up-to-date with digital trends, formats, platform updates and creative best practices.
Support test-and-learn frameworks and champion experimentation and consistent A/B testing
Actively track emerging trends in digital, culture and content.
Use AI and creative tech tools where relevant to support concept development and efficiencies.

About You:
7+ years in a creative strategy or senior creative role (agency or fast-paced in-house team).
Experience in sports, events or entertainment
Strong portfolio of campaign or concept work demonstrating narrative thinking and creative effectiveness.
Deep knowledge of social and digital platforms and how to optimise for each.
Able to communicate confidently and adapt communication style according to the needs of the stakeholder
Able to work independently but values working collaboratively as part of a team
Works effectively and enjoys a fast-paced, start-up environment
Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to exceed expectations
Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across multiple departments (global & local), with sensitivity to cultural nuances
Location:
Location - West London. Hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the London Office
