Required Skills
Job Description
Location: New York, NY (In-Office 4 Days a Week, Remote Fridays)
Department: Creative Team
Reports To: Executive Creative Director
Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000 Annual Salary (Exempt Full-Time)
About the Role:
This is a pure-play ideation and conceptual role. You sit at the intersection of product innovation and cultural shifts. Your job is to turn clinical truths and human behaviors into brand-defining moments.
• The Concept: You dream up the launch that doesn't feel like a pitch, the collab that feels like a glitch in the matrix, and the social formats people actually choose to watch.
• The Voice: You don't just "write copy." You find the Hook. You write the three seconds of text that stop a thumb and the manifesto that makes our community feel seen.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create the "What": From big campaign platforms to small, fast-moving social moments.
• Find the Angle: Identify shifts in culture early and bring perspectives no one else in the room sees.
• Turn Insight into Action: We don't care about generic "Gen Z" data. We care about human truths that can become tangible ideas.
• Own the Spark: Bring ideas that are clear enough to execute immediately. You stay involved as they come to life to ensure the "soul" of the idea stays intact.
Who You Are
• Taste over Credentials: You have an instinctive sense of what feels fresh and what is overdone.
• Output over Process: You’ve created work that people actually noticed—whether at an agency, for a brand, or on your own.
• Fast, but Decisive: You can generate 20 ideas to find the one that matters. You’d rather kill a "good" idea to make room for a "great" one.
What This Role Is Not
• Managing timelines, Trello boards, or logistics.
• Writing SEO blogs or technical ingredient lists.
• Building 40-slide decks to explain the obvious.
• Optimizing existing formats.
Expectations & Qualifications:
• Experience: Generally 3–5+ years in advertising, copywriting, or content strategy, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
• Platforms: Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and Meta advertising platforms.
• Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to translate analytics into actionable creative improvements.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to present concepts clearly
