Job Description
Position: Creative & Social Media Coordinator
Salary: up to PHP 70,000 per month
Working Hours & Conditions: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM NZ time
ROLE OVERVIEW
Are you a Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator with a passion for food, lifestyle brands, and scroll-stopping visuals? Our client is hiring a part-time, remote Creative & Social Media Coordinator to take full ownership of their organic social media presence and visual content output.
Working directly with the founders, you will design on-brand graphics, edit supplied photo and video content, and manage a content calendar across Facebook and Instagram — all while staying true to the brand personality: bold, natural, and community-driven. TikTok is also on the roadmap once the team finds its rhythm. If you're a self-directed creative who loves food and lifestyle content and can bring a small brand's story to life visually, this role is for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Graphic Design (Primary Focus)
• Create eye-catching graphics and visual assets for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand storytelling
• Design content optimised for Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant digital channels
• Adapt and resize assets across different platform formats and placements to maintain visual consistency
Video Editing (Secondary Focus)
• Edit raw photo and video footage supplied by the team into polished, platform-ready short-form content
• Produce Instagram Reels and short-form video clips with captions, transitions, and on-brand styling
• Optimise video content for each platform's algorithm, specifications, and audience behaviour
Social Media Management
• Plan, schedule, and publish organic content across Facebook and Instagram
• Manage a content calendar under direction from the founders, maintaining a consistent posting rhythm
• Monitor engagement and maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice across all channels
• Note: Paid advertising is managed separately — this role focuses entirely on organic content creation and scheduling
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 2 solid years graphic design skills with a strong portfolio — a portfolio demonstrating relevant food, lifestyle, or product content work is required; applications without a portfolio will not be considered
• Solid video editing experience for social media, particularly short-form formats such as Instagram Reels
• Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook content best practices, formats, and organic growth strategies
• A genuine eye for food, lifestyle, and product aesthetics — you understand what looks good and what performs well on social
• Proficient in design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar
• Self-directed and organised — comfortable owning a content calendar and delivering consistently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written English with the ability to write in a brand voice and collaborate closely with a small founding team
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have)
• Experience creating or repurposing content for TikTok or staying ahead of short-form video trends
• Background in food, FMCG, beverage, or lifestyle brand content creation
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite) and basic analytics reporting
• Experience supporting a small or family-run brand in a creative or social media coordinator capacity
• Understanding of New Zealand consumer culture and what resonates with a Kiwi audience online
