Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Creative R&D / Data Wrangler Operations Specialist to join our
Creative Technology team. This is a dual-role position focused on both creative technology
development and data management. You will work closely with the team to optimize realtime creative workflows, develop new tools, and manage large-scale media transfers. Your
role will be vital in ensuring seamless creative operations during global events while
contributing to R&D efforts that improve the efficiency and scalability of our creative
infrastructure.
• The role requires travel to global summit events.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment (e.g., rugged storage devices, laptops, and small
network hardware).
• Flexible hours and the ability to work under pressure in dynamic, high-demand
environments.
• Ability to work long hours during events with a high level of attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities
Creative R&D (50%):
• Creative Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with the creative team to optimize and
innovate creative production workflows, focusing on editing, rendering, and publishing
processes for high-quality digital media.
• Tool Development: Develop and maintain custom tools or scripts for automating
media handling tasks, such as file transfers, file compression, and cloud
synchronization. Integrate these tools into the creative pipeline to streamline
production.
• Hardware build and testing: Help develop and test custom Internet stations and
hardware to be deployed at across global events.
• Software Testing: Continuously test and refine creative software solutions to ensure
the highest levels of performance, ensuring compatibility with both local and cloudbased storage systems.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Network Engineer and
other Creative Technology / R&D staff to integrate new technologies and processes
that drive efficiency, ensuring all teams can seamlessly collaborate across global
events.
• Cloud Integration: Explore and implement cloud-based solutions for creative asset
storage and management to improve the speed and scalability of media handling
during events.
Data Wrangler Operations (50%):
• Data Transfer Management: Oversee the transfer of large-scale creative data (video
files, graphics, etc.) from event locations back to HQ. This includes managing the
timely and secure upload of files using solutions such as Signiant for high-speed file
transfers.
• File Integrity & Backup/Real-Time Data Handling: Manage data workflows during live
events, ensuring creatives can seamlessly upload and share files with the team in
real-time without interruptions. Create backup processes to prevent data loss.
• Storage Management: Coordinate with the IT team to monitor and manage local
storage devices (e.g., rugged SSDs, NAS) used for holding media during events. Ensure
data is accessible and secure throughout the event lifecycle.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of file transfers, technical
issues, and creative production progress. Provide post-event reports on data transfer
performance and suggest improvements for future events.
What we’re looking for:
• 3-5+ years of experience in creative video production, creative operations and
creative technology.
• Experience in event management or live production environments.
• Experience in Creative Technologies: Solid understanding of creative workflows,
including video editing, rendering, and media management.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash), media
storage management, and cloud solutions. Familiarity with file transfer tools such as
Signiant is a plus.
• R&D Mindset: Proven ability to test, evaluate, and implement new creative tools and
technologies, constantly iterating for better efficiency.
• Data Management Skills: Strong skills in handling large datasets, troubleshooting file
transfer issues, and ensuring data integrity during high-speed uploads.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
collaborate across different teams and provide clear technical support and reports.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
resolve issues quickly and ensure minimal disruption during high-pressure events.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in
data management and creative workflows.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• The role requires travel to global summit events.

Qualifications Required
• Experience in technical teams or hybrid creative/technical groups.
• Deep familiarity with modern creative toolchains (Adobe, AI tools, automation
platforms, asset management).
• Experience with cloud-based storage systems (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) for media
management and transfers.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and solutions, particularly SD-WAN and multiWAN configurations.
• Knowledge of Signiant or similar high-speed file transfer protocols.
• Experience in event management or live production environments, with the ability
to manage fast-moving creative teams and data workflows.
Preferred
• Experience with engineering principals and knowledge of creative systems
architecture.
• Knowledge of machine learning tools, generative AI, or real-time production
environments.
• Experience with enterprise-level content systems and creative operations at scale.
• Experience with large-scale events media production and post-production.
• Background or interest in emerging media / immersive formats (live streaming, realtime, interactive, hybrid events).
• Understanding of the iGaming / gaming / tech / media context (beneficial but not
strictly required).
• Experience working in distributed teams or global offices, cross time-zone
collaboration, remote workflows.
