YOUR ROLE AS TRAINER AND PROGRAM FACILITATOR

MySigrid is looking for passionate and dynamic trainers who bring warmth, creativity, and a strong sense of presence to every learning session. Our ideal trainer blends the qualities of an engaging facilitator with the creativity and performance skills of a theatre artist. This role is designed for someone who can transform learning into a joyful, interactive, and meaningful experience for children, with a particular emphasis on online engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• Facilitate interactive, movement-based, and experiential learning sessions for young children, especially in an online environment.
• Create an emotionally safe and encouraging space for children to feel seen, supported, and curious while fostering an engaging online presence.
• Deliver lessons with clarity, energy, and intentional communication, leveraging your charismatic online presence to connect with young learners.
• Adapt teaching methods and pacing to meet the unique needs, moods, and learning styles of each child in a virtual classroom.
• Observe student behavior and progress, providing thoughtful reflections to improve future sessions and enhance engagement.
• Maintain structure and flow in every online session while being responsive to the children's pace and participation level.
• Use storytelling, creative expression, and imaginative play to bring concepts to life, incorporating elements of theatre production to make sessions more captivating.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine and enhance training activities and lesson plans for an engaging online learning experience.

• Emotionally intelligent and capable of creating a supportive space for children’s diverse emotions—frustration, excitement, and curiosity.
• Empathetic and attuned to the emotional and developmental needs of young learners, especially in a virtual classroom.
• Communicates with clarity, gentleness, and sensitivity, ensuring every child feels seen and valued.

Adaptable & Observant

• Easily adjusts pacing and methods based on the group’s energy and individual learning differences in an online environment.
• Reflective and adaptable, adjusting teaching strategies based on feedback and the dynamics of each session.
• Flexible with lesson flow while maintaining structure, ensuring engaging learning experiences that suit all students.

Performance-Driven and Developmentally Aligned

• Utilizes the skills and experience gained from theatre production to create immersive, interactive experiences that engage children and promote their learning through play, movement, and sensory exploration.
• Understands how children best learn in a virtual environment, offering a child-centered approach in every session.

Requirements:
• Background in theatre production, online teaching, early childhood development, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching young children in online settings, especially in educational or enrichment programs, is a strong advantage.
• Creative communicator with a strong online presence, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead energetic, engaging online sessions and maintain a captivating virtual presence.

• Key Competencies:
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, especially in a virtual setting.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple online sessions and activities.

MySigrid has co-working offices in BGC, Ortigas, and Makati where the whole team meets at least once a month at a minimum.
