The Role

As a Creative Lead (Social), you will steer a squad of content creatives, reporting directly to the Head of Content. You’ll thrive on turning ideas into fresh, exciting realities embracing experimentation, spotting a new feature in the morning and bringing it to life by the afternoon.  You’ll play a key role in nurturing talent and shaping standout work, with a strong belief in the power of short-form video, groundbreaking artists who rewrite the norms, and creators ready to reshape the advertising world. What you’ll do:

Lead and mentor a team of content creatives, ensuring high-quality output that meets client and company goals.

Stay ahead of social and pop culture trends, identifying opportunities to create innovative, social-first content.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of ideas across various media platforms.

Develop and present creative visions to clients, securing buy-in and aligning stakeholders on creative direction.

Elevate Gospooky’s creative approach by championing bold, experimental storytelling techniques.

What we’re looking for:

Are hungry for everything social, digital, and creative. Possess a keen interest in new platforms and storytelling techniques within our industry and the creative realm.

Consume and create content daily on short-form video platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Shorts.

Proficiently use Adobe Creative Suite, with a zest for learning diverse ways of creating short-form content, from in-app editing (e.g., Instagram Stories, Reels, TikTok) to specialized creative apps. 

Elevate ideas to the next level, exhibiting responsibility, accountability, and love for collaborative magic.

Bring at least 2 years of leadership experience in a social or creative agency.

Demonstrate a successful track record of turning creative briefs into executed social concepts – showcase this experience through a creative portfolio.

Possesses skills in creative writing, art direction, video editing, visual effects, and storytelling to elevate concepts and assets.

Mentor and guide senior, mid-level, and junior-level creatives.

Speak English fluently(Dutch is a plus!)
