About this role

As a part of our team, you’ll help us shape a platform that works for One - a business owner, an artist, a freelancer. We focus on individuals, and we don’t confuse growth with treating people like numbers. Always staying simple. Always being human.

We expect you to translate insights into compelling messages, balancing creativity with clarity and purpose, and creating copy for various types of content across the entire UMO ecosystem.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Tone of Voice (TOV) Mastery: Work with the brand TOV, understanding how to maintain and adapt it across different marketing channels while preserving absolute consistency.

Creative Hook Generation: Create headlines and copy that are memorable, engaging, and inspiring. You understand the nuance of wordplay and the clear difference between creative storytelling and standard copywriting.

Emotional Connection: Write copy that makes people feel something — this includes ads, banners, in-app messages, website content, social posts, emails, video scripts, and more.

Humanizing Finance: Find the "human angle" in financial topics that are often made unnecessarily complex or boring, turning them into something people actually want to read.

Simplifying Complexity: Transform complex technical statements (e.g., “we support 47 currencies and 3 blockchain networks”) into clear, engaging, human-centered messaging.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketers and product/tech teams to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging, and accessible content.

Audience Adaptation: Adapt the tone of voice for different audiences — from advanced DeFi users to people opening their first investment account.

Brand Persona Development: Switch between specific tones of voice — for example, ensuring our brand hero "Mo" sounds distinct from the core UMO corporate brand.

Multi-Channel Content: Produce high-quality content for banners, ads, app interfaces, and the central website.

Requirements

Portfolio: You have a portfolio you're genuinely proud of — meaningful fintech work is a must.

Domain Literacy: Crypto and finance don't scare you. You don't need to run a trading desk, but you should be able to write convincingly for both newcomers and seasoned professionals.

Versatility: You can write a button label, a 500-word explainer, and a campaign headline in the same afternoon without losing your focus.

Startup Mindset: You're comfortable in a "build-as-you-go" environment where things are still being figured out — and you're okay with being part of the solution.

Language Skills: Your English is strong (C1+); Ukrainian is a big plus, and other languages are a bonus.
