Objective
Operate a Lattice Boom, Telescopic Boom, Rough Terrain/TeleCrawler crane to hoist and move materials, assist in large equipment setup, and perform other related operations.
Job Duties:
Operate TeleCrawler/Rough Terrain (RT) crane in various site conditions.
Perform lifting, hoisting, and material placement per superintendent/foreman directive.
Inspect equipment before and after operation to ensure proper functionality.
Identify and mitigate site hazards, including obstructions, weather conditions, and personnel safety risks.
Assist with planning for Critical Lifts and Understand Written Lift Plans
Assist with routine maintenance and minor adjustments on cranes as needed.
Coordinate with ground crews and signal personnel for safe operations.
Be willing to operate other equipment as required, such as off-road forklifts.
Work weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
NCCCO or NCCER certification (must be current).
Certified Rigger
5+ years of crane operating experience with verifiable references.
Ability to operate in rough terrain and challenging site conditions.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety protocols.
Willingness to work weekends if necessary.
Physically capable of performing strenuous tasks, including climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Class A CDL (Preferred but not required)
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay -based on industry standard operator rates.
Daily per diem + travel expenses provided.
