Diversified Construction & Design is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to support heavy lifting operations on a variety of job sites. The Crane Operator will safely operate company cranes to perform lifts in accordance with lift plans, load charts, and site safety requirements.
We operate multiple cranes to meet job demands, including 15-ton, 30-ton, 50-ton, and 100-ton cranes.

Pre-Employment Requirement: Employment is contingent on pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities:
Operate cranes to lift, move, and place loads safely and efficiently.
Perform daily equipment inspections and document findings.
Set up crane properly, including outrigger placement, cribbing/plates, and leveling.
Read and follow load charts, lift plans, and site-specific safety procedures.
Inspect rigging equipment and verify loads are properly secured prior to lifting.
Communicate with rigger/signal person using hand signals and/or radio.
Ensure all lifts remain within approved limits and stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
Perform basic preventive maintenance and report repair needs.
Requirements:
Current NCCCO certification (or NCCER equivalent); additional endorsements a plus.
Proven experience operating cranes on active job sites.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices and crane operation standards.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong spatial awareness and ability to judge distances and load movement.
Excellent attention to detail and focus for extended periods.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues early.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
