Job Description:
• Be part of Soc performance architecture team working on next generation client products.
• Research and improve methodologies for performance modeling, analysis and for workload analysis.
• Own and drive research ideas to improve Soc performance modeling including modeling these ideas in performance models and collaborating with wider arch and design teams to productize ideas.
• Model proposed micro-arch in performance models, analyze bottlenecks and propose solutions for them.
• Work with validation teams to ensure performance features bring expected benefits in the product
Qualifications:
• Computer arch expertise with course/projects focusing on at least one aspect of computer architecture
• Alternately strong understanding of either traditional data structures and algorithms or deep learning techniques with an interest to apply them in computer architecture
• Strong C++ or object-oriented programming skills
• Minimum expected experience - B.Tech + 6 yrs or M.Tech + 3 years or Ph.D with internships in following areas
• Experience in C++/System C TLM modeling
• Experience in specific sub-systems of Soc like cache, memory or fabric
• Experience with handling performance model/performance analysis of complex Socs with latency/bandwidth/power expectations
• Exposure to scripting or RTL validation environments is an added advantage
• Exposure in bringing up /integrating performance/functional simulators and/or analysis or workloads will be an added advantage.
