Are you looking for a new career where you can travel extensively and gain nationally recognised qualifications whilst working?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee CPT Technician to join Lankelma Ltd on a full-time basis. Working as a part of a friendly, dynamic team of Site Investigation Technicians, the role will be site-based providing you with a great opportunity to travel the UK, and also Internationally!
Daily duties include travelling to and from varied project locations across the UK to operate specialist plant/ machinery with the guidance of the Senior CPT Technician on site, liaising with clients, colleagues, and contractors and preparing equipment for projects.
We work on a variety of projects in different environments including on land, nearshore, and rail providing regular opportunities to earn excellent enhancements.
No experience is necessary
as full training, supervision, and support will be given from day one, so if your don't have any prior experience in the field there's no need to be nervous!
All you need to apply is:
A Full UK Driving Licence and clean driving record (ability to drive in the UK is essential to the role.)
A willingness to stay away from home Monday to Friday, paid door-to-door. The applicant must be willing to travel and stay away from home on a weekly basis; typical travel for this position includes 100-200 nights in a hotel each year for work travel.
An eagerness to learn.
Electrical and mechanical skills are an asset but not required.
Competent in GCSE level (or equivalent qualification) Maths & English.
A good understanding of Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving heavy materials up to 50 lbs., climbing, crawling as well as walking on uneven ground, working long hours in all weather conditions.
