Job Summary:
Responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe pickup and delivery of packages, documents, and other materials between company locations, Government of Guam agencies, and external vendors. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work under constant pressure of delivery deadlines. This role also requires the ability to lift and transport packages of varying weights while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver packages, documents, supplies, and other materials to designated locations.
Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
Load, unload, and transport packages safely, ensuring proper handling.
Lift, carry, push, and pull packages up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or delivery confirmation when required.
Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation.
Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or route issues.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and local traffic regulations.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documents or materials.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
With health certificate
Must have a valid DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) credential or ability to obtain one
Previous experience in courier, delivery, logistics, or transportation preferred.
Ability to pass background checks and driving record checks if required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
Ability to load and unload items safely from vehicles.
