New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We deliver respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness across our communities.
We’re hiring a full time Licensed Clinician (LSW or LAC) Counselor to support our Behavioral Health program for our Burlington (Mount Holly)Location. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who values trauma-informed, culturally responsive, person-centered care and wants to do meaningful work in a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Do
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for mental health and substance use needs
Develop person-centered treatment plans in partnership with clients
Provide individual and group counseling (in-person and telehealth)
Use evidence-informed practices (e.g., MI, CBT/DBT-informed skills, relapse prevention, coping skills) as appropriate
Support clients with stress management, emotional regulation, recovery supports, and community resources
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and strengthen outcomes
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR in accordance with program standards and compliance requirements
What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (accredited program)
Active New Jersey licensure: LSW or LAC (required)
Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
Strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and professionalism
Comfortable managing a caseload independently while working collaboratively
Proficiency with EMRs and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Preferred (not required):
Experience in outpatient behavioral health, SUD treatment, co-occurring disorders, MAT/OTP settings, or community mental health
Group facilitation experience
Bilingual skills (Spanish/other languages)
