Many of our interns and members in the community say that “Wisdom is the place to be an intern.” We provide our interns with a comprehensive experience, which includes opportunities to work in our co-occurring outpatient programs, receive individualized supervision, advance learning to deepen their understanding of a trauma-informed approach to treatment, opportunities to work with our multidisciplinary team of providers, and a methodical approach for managing small caseload assignments and guidance for supervision toward future credentialing. of Spring and Fall Semesters.
A good candidate is someone who has some exposure to working in an agency or clinic, and who is interested in integrative and trauma-informed care. We are also hoping that our candidates will consider future employment, after they complete their internship programs.
