We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Controller to join our team at Porto Carras. In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across our luxury property, ensuring that financial goals are achieved while delivering outstanding service to our guests. Your analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail will help optimize operational performance and enhance profitability.
Overview
As a Cost Controller, you will oversee purchasing, inventory management, and cost reporting functions, helping to implement strategies for efficient financial operations while ensuring compliance with established standards.
Requirements:
• Manage and oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring that all goods and services are sourced at competitive prices while maintaining quality.
• Conduct regular audits of stock levels and inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial data and prepare cost reports to assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with culinary and operational teams to develop strategies to control costs and maximize profitability.
• Implement cost control measures and monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in cost control or financial analysis within a hospitality environment.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in financial software and MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
