Cost Controller – Omeon Mykonos

As a Cost Controller at Omeon Mykonos, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the financial aspects of our luxury property. We are looking for an individual who possesses strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of cost control processes within the hospitality industry. You will work closely with various departments to monitor expenses, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure adherence to budgetary standards while maintaining our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Overview

Responsibility for monitoring and controlling costs, particularly in food and beverage, while providing comprehensive support for ongoing financial reporting and forecasting.

Requirements:
• Conduct thorough analysis of expenses to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Manage and verify all purchasing and inventory activities
• Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure optimal pricing and quality of goods
• Prepare regular financial reports and cost analyses for management review
• Implement and monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Work proactively to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and cost-related data
• Communicate effectively with department heads regarding financial performance and cost management

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or relevant field
• At least 2–3 years of experience in cost control or accounting in a hotel or restaurant environment
• Strong numerical proficiency and analytical skills
• Expertise in MS Excel and familiarity with financial software systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration
• Knowledge of best practices in cost control and budgeting in the hospitality sector
