About the role
Russell McVeagh is looking for a mid-senior level lawyer to join our Wellington Corporate Advisory group, working directly with partners Michael Loan and Cath Shirley-Brown. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working on a broad range of corporate advisory and commercial matters, as well as large scale renewable energy and infrastructure matters, including joint ventures, public and private M&A, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements and project contracts.

The successful candidate will have:
A legal qualification with a minimum 4 years’ legal experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and think critically.
A strong service focus with the need to listen and understand the essential requirements of different areas of the firm.
Ability to build connections and work collaboratively.
